With professional training in the United States and experience working in New York, I have spent 15 years working with clients in both Taiwan and the United States, including people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds across Asia, Europe, and the United States. Working across cultures has taught me that our experiences of relationships, family, identity, work, and emotional well-being can be deeply influenced by the cultures and environments we live in. As a bilingual counseling psychologist, I provide counseling in both English and Mandarin, and I welcome clients who are navigating cross-cultural experiences, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or simply trying to better understand themselves. 【Individual Counseling】 I genuinely enjoy accompanying each client through the process—from exploring what is troubling them, to facing difficult moments, and gradually finding a way forward. I believe that every person is unique. My hope is to help you see and reconnect with the strengths, qualities, and beauty within yourself. Your uniqueness is part of what makes this world a more diverse and meaningful place. If you are feeling lonely, emotionally exhausted, hurt, or lost; if you need someone you can talk to openly and safely; or if you would like to better understand and organize what is happening within you, you are welcome to make an appointment. I will be here to listen, to understand, and to walk alongside you through this part of your life journey. 【Couples Counseling】 Intimate relationships can touch our deepest longings as well as our deepest wounds, and they can sometimes leave us feeling especially alone. Couples counseling is not about persuading you to stay together or to separate. Rather, it provides a safe and supportive space where both partners can have the opportunity to truly talk, listen, and be understood. Sometimes, what hurts a relationship is not that love is gone, but that two people both want to move closer to each other yet cannot find a way to feel understood. I will work with you to recognize the patterns within your relationship, understand the needs behind your emotions, and discover ways of relating to each other that work better for both of you. We can together explore how a relationship can slowly grow toward new possibilities. (One couples session is for 80 minutes. Please contact me directly by email to arrange an appointment.) ***** You are also welcome to explore my articles and reflections on my official Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/counselor6/ If you do not see an available time slot that works for you, please contact me to discuss other time via email: [email protected]

Having lived across Europe, I bring a multicultural lens to understanding life's challenges. Therapy is a journey inward — discovering your inner landscape while making sense of the world around you.

Stuck in the same relationship patterns but can't pinpoint what's going wrong — I get it. I'm Wei-Ting, a counseling psychologist who has lived and worked in Taiwan, the UK, and the Netherlands. I don't beat around the bush or offer empty words. Whether you're trapped in a relationship deadlock or have questions about intimacy and your body that feel too awkward to voice — this is a place where you can speak freely. You don't need to have it all figured out before you deserve to be treated well. Who am I? I studied biology at Imperial College London, worked in marketing at a Dutch multinational, and eventually found my way into the counseling room. These seemingly unrelated turns gave me a firsthand understanding of what it feels like to not quite belong in any one culture. I offer counseling in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese — bridging emotional gaps across languages and cultures. What I help with: Communication breakdowns between partners, recovery or separation after infidelity, desire discrepancies and intimacy boundaries, the loneliness of building a life abroad, the unspoken emptiness behind career success… and those thoughts you worry are "too strange" or "will be judged" — to me, they are often the most important doorway in. How I work: I'm straightforward — no jargon, no deflection. I listen carefully to what troubles you, and I'll share what I observe in real time — including contradictions and strengths you may not yet see in yourself. We're not just "chatting"; we're working together to find where you're truly stuck.

Hey! I'm Ming-Nuo. People say I'm nothing like the therapists on TV — and my clients love that. Life is full of surprises, not all of them welcome. But when we look back, what matters is that we can smile. Not sure how to move forward? That's okay — I'll walk alongside you.
